Hello, my name is Cindy Cuellar and I am a second-year at San Jose State University majoring in journalism. I want to focus on fashion journalism and possibly pursue in fashion, or even nature, photography. I am fond of the outdoors, whether if it is camping, backpacking, hiking, traveling, or going to the beach. Some other hobbies and interests I have are photography and of course, fashion. To be completely honest, I was not a fashion icon while growing up and I am still not at where I want to be with my outfits, but it is a work in progress.
To be completely honest, I was not a fashion icon while growing up and never even thought of patterns, clothes, and colors having an impact on my outfits. I am still not at where I want to be with my outfits, but it is a work in progress. I want my style to have my personality invoked along with bits of pieces of other influences of styles. Of course, as many times that I have fallen in love with different pieces, especially designers, I do not have the luxury of buying every clothing piece to add to my wardrobe. In order to save money I will go thrifting every now and then but finding good pieces for good deals can be difficult but a huge bargain on other occasions.
One of my suggestions would be to buy basic pieces once wanting to start a wardrobe such as nice jeans, plain white shirts, a leather jacket as well as a denim jacket, and a good pair of sneakers and boots. Once you have the basic pieces, you can start building up from there bringing in more colors, materials, and patterns.
